Poľnohospodár...

Hotel Jantár, today a popular place for rest and relaxation, has a rich and interesting history that dates back to the late 1970s. The foundation stone of the hotel was laid on November 24, 1977, which marked the beginning of the construction of the Agricultural Health and Education Facility, which was called Poľnohospodár/Agrozdrav. During this period, agriculture in Czechoslovakia had a high level and importance, which led to the creation of facilities that would support employees in this area. Poľnohospodár/Agrozdrav became a place where vocational training, education and health of agricultural sector workers were combined. The facility was visited primarily by workers from various areas of agriculture, who participated in professional courses, seminars and training, thus increasing their qualifications and professional skills. The health and educational nature of the facility was very important, because at that time great emphasis was placed on improving the working conditions and health of farmers, who played a key role in the development of the national economy. Over the years, with political and economic changes, the facility was gradually transformed. After the fall of communism and the transition to a market economy, the facility was transformed into a traditional hotel, which is still very popular among visitors. Today, Hotel Jantár serves not only as an accommodation facility, but also as a place for relaxation, training and various social events. The historical heritage of the hotel is still alive, and visitors can read more about its history in the Chronicle at the reception.
